Santa & Christmas Drinking Games

As I said on Friday, we had a visit to make to Santa this weekend and let me tell ya.. It wasn’t quite what I expected. Yes, we could have gone to the mall to get our photo with Santa, but we decided to go to this cute market nearby that was also having an omelette bar and cookie decorating and seemed like it was going to be a good time. Much more enjoyable than standing in line at the mall. Well..
As you can tell, neither Rhett nor SANTA seemed all that jolly. Not even a smile from Santa! And that silly backdrop? I mean come onnnnn. But we just went with it because hey, it was free…I guess you’re paying for more than just the picture at the mall 😜

Of course Danny always takes my picture when I’m the most akward so here I am enjoying that nice sip of coffee lol. But see the omelette?! So good. Farm fresh eggs, veggies & muenster cheese all stuffed in there. The girl making them was a little heavy handed with the oil in the pan, but it didn’t ruin it. All in all, we spent time together as a family and that’s what is most important, right?!  Now what you really came here for… DRINKING GAMES!

If you’re looking for something to do with your family once all the littles have been tucked away for bed, here are a few drinking games worthy of Christmas night..And what would they be without the booziest is that even a word? of cocktails to go with?!

There’s the classic eggnog, you could make a big batch of jingle juice, a pretty white christmas sangria, a festive twist on the popular mosow mule, or you could get a few these holiday brews! And don’t think the pregnant ladies can’t join in on the fun, here’s a mocktail that’s sure to please.

You’ll need: A Christmas movie, your drink, a Santa hat & a shot of your favorite liquor..or water for you mamas with child haha!  Next, what’s your favorite Christmas movie? Elf? Home alone? A Christmas story? National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation? Once you’ve decided on the movie, click the corresponding link above for directions.. Why do you need the santa hat, you ask? Well.. if you want to add to the fun, place the santa hat on the corner of the TV and whenever anyone in the movie appears to be wearing it.. DRINK! Finally, depending on the movie, the shot is either used during it or you can take it for one last hoorah once the credits start rolling!

Merry Christmas & Happy Drinking, friends!
